Atwood Building - Traffic Pattern Change
Effective June 1 - September 9, 2008
-  7th Avenue is now closed (in front of the Atwood Bldg)
-  7th & F Street intersection is closed
-  E Street continues to have one lane open north
-  F Street is one lane south
-  Atwood Alley is now used for accessible drop off / pick up; deliveries; personal vehicles for drop off / pick up.
 Alley traffic is one way, east to west. (travel north on “E” Street, left into the alley, and exit on “F” Street south).

Visa Debit Card
CSSD offers a Free Direct Payment Card (DPC) to custodial parents receiving child support payments.  Future child support payments are loaded automatically to your card.  You can use the debit card as if you have a Visa credit card but you're using your own money.  You can also use it as a debit card or to get cash.   Authorization Form, Informational letter.

Important Message
Effective May 1st, 2008 JP Morgan will be placing a “block” for pay at the pump transactions.  As a result, card holders will be required to go inside the service station to complete the transaction.  To read more => Important Message

Passport denial threshold is $2,500
If you owe more than $2,500.00 in past due child support, the U.S. Secretary of State will refuse to issue a passport to you and may revoke, restrict or limit a passport previously issued.

As of January 23, 2007 a passport is required for all persons traveling by air outside of the United States.  For more details =>  New Travel Document Requirements

Atwood Building Visitor Parking
Atwood building visitor parking is available in  Lot #79 on the south east corner of 8th & E street.  Additional spaces are also located on the north east section of Lot #102 on 8th Avenue & D.   Lot #70 is the construction site for the new Atwood Building Garage scheduled for completion in September of 2008.   Atwood parking map,

Child Support Director
John Mallonee was named  the  Director of the Alaska Child Support Services Division on June 16, 2004.  Prior to his appointment, Mr. Mallonee  worked for the division for eleven years and held several different management positions during that period.
